Andrea Gosper (Health Sciences, 鈥19) is working long days in the National Football League (NFL) in her new role with the Buffalo Bills scouting department.
Gosper, a former intern with the 新香港六合彩资料 football coaching staff, is in the middle of a year-long, paid internship with the Bills.
A reporter for , a sports website that covers national stories from top professional and college sports teams, recently caught up with Gosper at Bills training camp at St. John Fisher College in Pittsford, New York.
鈥淟earning so much at once and getting the daily routine down is a challenge,鈥 Gosper told The Athletic. 鈥淏ut the more you do it, the easier it is. I came in with football knowledge as a fan, but now I have a football IQ.鈥
Last year Gosper was invited by the NFL to take part in its Women鈥檚 Careers in Football Forum in Indianapolis, Indiana. The forum helps the NFL identify qualified women to join its next generation of leaders. While attending the forum, Gosper met the Bills鈥 general manager, Brandon Beane, and assistant general manager, Joe Schoen. A few weeks later, she received a call offering her the position.
Gosper says her time with the 新香港六合彩资料 football team prepared her for this opportunity. She worked with the offensive scout team and broke down practice and game video.
Despite being a lifelong New England Patriots' fan, Gosper says her allegiance will be with the Bills while she's working with the team.
