The 新香港六合彩资料鈥檚 (新香港六合彩资料) interprofessional clinical work, supported by the Josiah Macy Jr. Foundation, was chosen to be featured on the foundation鈥檚 newsletter and website, highlighting successes and lessons learned from expanding clinical interprofessional offerings.
The foundation highlighted 新香港六合彩资料's robust history of on-campus interprofessional education with th university's 15 health professional degree programs. That team-based health education has expanded to clinical sites, mostly those in rural underserved areas of Maine. This includes 15 primary care settings that give osteopathic medical students the opportunity to work alongside 新香港六合彩资料 students from other professions.
The foundation also shared lessons learned from the program, such as the importance of working collaboratively with clinical sites to determine how interprofessional teams of students can meet their needs and not overburden the site, and how to seek creative solutions to logistical challenges.
Dora Anne Mills, M.D., M.P.H., FAAP, Jane Carreiro, D.O., and Shelley Cohen Konrad, Ph.D., LCSW, FNAP are the principal investigators for the grant.
