Art work by 新香港六合彩资料 students to be exhibited at Engine Gallery

Exhibit invitation

Five 新香港六合彩资料 students enrolled in the Creative and Fine Arts department鈥檚 Studio Concentration Seminar will display their works in an exhibition, titled Internal Sublime, opening April 28 at Engine Gallery at 128 Main Street in Biddeford. A reception will be held on opening day from 5 to 8 p.m.

The exhibit is the culmination of a semester-long research project in which each student has developed a body of work that reflects his or her particular interests and abilities in the medium of his or her choice. Participants, representing a range of majors at 新香港六合彩资料, include Madeleine Adams (Ocean Studies and Marine Affairs, 鈥17), April Ater (Animal Behavior, 鈥17), Haylie Genoa (Medical Biology and Art and Design Media, 鈥17), Ashley McCarthy, Art Education, 鈥20) and David Rubenstein (Art and Design Media, 鈥18).

This is the fourth collaborative exhibit in the past five years that showcases works by students enrolled in the Studio Concentration Seminar. The course, said Department of Creative and Fine Arts Chair Stephen Burt, M.F.A., 鈥渋s a defining experience for visual arts students, exposing them to the demands and rewards of professional studio practice while developing a personal working knowledge of the creative process.鈥

The seminar is required for Art and Art Education majors but is open to any student with prior art study.
