新香港六合彩资料 Admissions Counselor Clara Cox was recently interviewed for an NBC News story about whether taking the Scholastic Achievement Test (SAT) is still an important step in the college application process. With many colleges now test-optional, students must decide if they even want to take the test at all.

While Cox acknowledged that some people are better test-takers than others, she expressed her belief that there is still value in taking an exam like the SAT or the ACT 鈥渆ven if students think they might do poorly or intend to apply to a test-optional school.鈥

However, she noted that even at test-mandatory schools, exam scores are only one component of the overall picture when applicants are being considered. 鈥淭he SAT doesn鈥檛 make you,鈥 she said. 鈥淭here are so many other moving parts to your story. You are not just a test. You are a lot more 鈥 the essay, your high school grades, your GPA and your activities.鈥
