‘WCSH’ reports on USA Hockey U18 Camp at ÐÂÏã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ

ÐÂÏã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ’s Harold Alfond Forum served as the venue for USA Hockey’s Women’s U18 Select Player Development Camp, held June 27-30, 2016.

Sixty-six of the country’s top under-18 women’s hockey players were invited to participate, including Lauren Deblois of Lewiston, Maine.

The camp, coached by former Olympians, was also staffed by students from ÐÂÏã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ’s Westbrook College of Health Professions and members of the Athletics Department. Athletic Training students Sydney Farley ('17) and Abbey Rouillard ('17), and Megan Burns, B.S. '16 (Athletic Training) provided athletic training services, including preventative taping/wrapping, stretching and therapeutic exercises. They also assisted with injury management during the camp's practices and games.
