Dean Jeanne Hey is interviewed live on WCSH 6

Jeanne Hey, Ph.D., dean of the 新香港六合彩资料 College of Arts and Sciences, was interviewed live on WCSH about the second presidential debate between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. She did a second live interview on the subject on Facebook.

Hey was asked a number of questions about the tone of the debate, whether it likely impacted voters鈥 decisions and whether debates in general are serving their intended purpose for the American people.

鈥淭his is a sad day for those of us who enjoy and see the value in genuine political debate, for example a liberal and a conservative, a green party candidate and a libertarian, coming together and saying, 鈥榣et me explain to you, voter, why the conservative point of view is better or why the liberal one is.鈥 That has largely been lost. The candidates try to get in there, but between the name-calling, the gotcha moments, the interruptions and all the strategizing around how you manage a debate, there鈥檚 really not a lot of that done.鈥
