Joshua Allen (COM, 鈥19) and Marilyn Gugliucci, Ph.D., professor in the Department of Geriatric Medicine in the 新香港六合彩资料鈥檚 College of Osteopathic Medicine were interviewed by Canadian radio host Barry Morgan during an episode of 鈥淭he Barry Morgan Show鈥 on CJAD 800 in Montreal.
Allen participated in Gugliucci鈥檚 Learning by Living nuring home immersion project, in which he stayed at St. Andre Health Care in Biddeford for 10 days, living life as an elder nursing home resident with a stroke diagnosis. 鈥淲hile I was there I bonded with the residents on my floor and on all of the floors, and at the end it was really hard to say goodbye because I had made so many friendships there,鈥 Allen said on the show.
When speaking about the project Gugliucci said, 鈥淭he part that is amazing to me, for every student that goes into a home, and I鈥檝e been doing this for ten years now, they don鈥檛 want to leave at the end. They connect heart to heart with the people that they are living with.鈥
