Scott Steinberg shares college search tips in 'Bangor Daily News' article

Steinberg advises that there are several steps that can be taken by prospective college students that 鈥渃an ultimately save time, money, and increase the likelihood of a better fit between school and student.鈥
He recommends doing online research about schools; looking at schools that are close to home, even if your intentions are to attend school far away; focusing on your major if you know what you want to study but not being overly concerned if you鈥檙e undecided; looking for extracurricular opportunities; investigating financial aid options; asking about student outcomes; and connecting with others who are familiar with the college search process.
