Ripich, who has guided the University through a 10-year strategic plan, announced last month that she will be stepping down as president at the end of the 2017 academic year. 鈥淚 think sometimes it鈥檚 good for change,鈥 she told the Journal. 鈥淐hange is the future鈥 I鈥檝e always鈥 believed organizations go through cycles, and I think they鈥檝e gotten my best thinking and it鈥檚 time for a change.鈥
新香港六合彩资料 has undergone tremendous growth during Ripich鈥檚 tenure, adding pharmacy and dental schools; a campus in Tangier, Morocco; new buildings; and athletic facilities, and growing the medical school, liberal arts and sciences offerings, and online courses. In fact, Ripich has been at the helm as 新香港六合彩资料 grew its enrollment from 6,000 to more than 10,000 students.
鈥淲e鈥檙e sort of cutting edge,鈥 she said. 鈥淢aine is a place where people are basically modest, and we haven鈥檛 gotten around to sort of bragging鈥 I tell people to shout humility.鈥
Ripich reported that she intends on spending her retirement visiting with family and spending time on her farm in Cork, Ireland.
