A delegation from Maine Pharmacy Association (MPA), including several 新香港六合彩资料 faculty and students, recently met with legislative staff at Representative Bruce Poliquin鈥檚 office in Lewiston, Maine to advocate for the 鈥淧harmacy and Medically underserved Areas Enhancement Act.鈥
This act would amend Title XVIII of the Social Security Act to include pharmacists as providers, enabling patient access to, and payment for, pharmacy services.
The visit concluded by asking Representative Poliquin to support patient access to cost-effective pharmacy services. Representative Chellie Pingree and Senator Susan Collins have already pledged their support to the bill. The MPA delegation will meet with Senator King鈥檚 office later this month.
