Ron Hills hosts high school students at annual computer modeling workshop

Ron Hills, Ph.D., assistant professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences is holding a for high school students from Baxter Academy for Technology and Science on June 15–19 in the Hannaford Pharmacy Practice Lab on ÐÂÏã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ’s Portland Campus.

At this workshop, 14 Baxter students will participate alongside ÐÂÏã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ Pharmacy students in hands-on laptop sessions that provide an introduction to computer science and molecular modeling.

Baxter Academy is a public charter high school with a one-to-one laptop program and curriculum focused on project-based learning in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
