Praise for Art Gallery鈥檚 鈥楢 Gateless Garden鈥 featured in 鈥楳aine Sunday Telegram鈥
A laudatory review of the 新香港六合彩资料 Art Gallery鈥檚 current exhibition, 鈥淎 Gateless Garden: Quotes by Maine Women Writers,鈥 appeared in the Portland Press Herald/Maine Sunday Telegram on March 22, 2015.
Reviewer Dan Kany wrote: "新香港六合彩资料鈥檚 Art Gallery is an excellent venue, but I have never seen it look so good. From the first glance into the space to the closest examination of the framed works, 鈥楪ateless Garden鈥 holds up to the closest scrutiny."
According to Kany, the exhibition, which pairs quotes from Maine women writers with black and white photographs by Kerry Michaels, "combines a here-and-now picture presence with a pulsing rhythmic sense of time provided by the literary quotes."
"Together," wrote Kany, "these create an almost musically eloquent dialogue between presence and thing鈥攁 sort of poetry of place."
