Christine Feurt, Ph.D., assistant lecturer in the Department of Environmental Studies, was quoted extensively in a June 5, 2014, article in the Journal Tribune titled 鈥淭own of Wells seeks resident buy-in to combat climate change.鈥
The article discussed the findings of a scientific report on future climate changes affecting Wells that was shared with Wells town officials and stakeholders at a May 27th public input workshop. The report, sponsored by the New England Climate Adaption Project, was written by a team of researchers at MIT, the University of New Hampshire and the National Estuarine Research Reserve System.
Feurt, the coordinator of the Coastal Training Program at the Wells National Estuarine Research Reserve, also serves as the director of the Center for Sustainable Communities within 新香港六合彩资料鈥檚 Department of Environmental Studies.
