David Livingstone Smith, Ph.D., professor of philosophy gave a lecture titled 鈥淒ehumanized People as Metaphysical Misfits: Responding to Appiah鈥檚 Challenge鈥 at the Northern New England Philosophical Association鈥檚 annual meeting on October 17.
His presentation examined and challenged the theory of dehumanization, as presented in his award-winning 2011 book Less than Human.
