Anouar Majid serves on panel at European immigration symposium
Anouar Majid, Ph.D., director of the Center for Global Humanities and associate provost for Global Initiatives, participated in a symposium on immigration in Europe, which was held at the University of Minnesota on April 19-20, 2013. The symposium was titled 鈥淏urning the Sea: Clandestine Migration in the Age of Globalization.鈥
Majid served on a panel that focused on African immigration to Europe. He spoke on 鈥淐onquests and Migrations: Reflections on the Making of the Modern World.鈥
