Associate Professor Susan McHugh, Ph.D., of the Department of English published a peer-reviewed article in the current issue of Hypatia: A Journal of Feminist Philosophy.  Titled “Bitch, Bitch, Bitch: Personal Criticism, Feminist Theory, and Dog Writing,” McHugh’s essay appeared in a special issue of the journal devoted to the theme Animal Others.

McHugh is the author of the books Animal Stories: Narrating across Species Lines, published in the University of Minnesota Press’s Posthumanities series, as well as Dog, published in Reaktion Books’ Animal series.
