��������ϲ�����

Andrew Golub, Dean of Library Services, Bethany Kenyon, Access Services Assistant, Laurie Mathes, Circulation Coordinator, Portland Campus, and Amanda Leen, Circulation Coordinator, Biddeford Campus, gave a presentation at the Maine Academic Libraries meeting held at Colby College on April 15th.  Their presentation was entitled, “The Best Thing a Library Can Be Is Open” and dealt with ��������ϲ�����’s efforts to offer 24 hour per day library services on both of its campuses.  Their talk dealt with the political, academic, security, personnel, facilities, and other issues that ��������ϲ����� resolved as the department began in the fall of 2010 to offer 24 hour per day library services, 5 days per week during academic semesters with only student staffing.  ��������ϲ����� is the only library in Maine to do so.
