Purple-Palooza Office Decorating Contest

8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Portland Campus, Biddeford Campus, Tangier Campus, Off Campus, Online

October marks Dating and Domestic Violence Awareness Month, a time dedicated to raising awareness about the critical issue of relationship violence. To honor this important cause, the week of October 14 has been designated as Nor'easter Relationship Awareness Month. In collaboration with the Office of Title IX and Civil Rights Compliance and Student Affairs, we are excited to invite departments on both campuses to participate in the Purple Palooza office decorating contest. Don't have an office? Work from home? Decorate your door or window; all are welcome to participate!

All submissions must be completed and submitted by October 16 at 4 PM.  A panel of student judges on each campus will evaluate the entries to determine the first, second, and third-place winners. In addition to these awards, there will be two special categories. The People's Choice award will be voted on by students, giving everyone a chance to have their voice heard. The Achievement in Awareness award will be decided by our partners at Caring Unlimited and Through These Doors, recognizing departments that best utilize and promote available resources. Winners will be announced on October 17.

Join us in this initiative to spread awareness and foster a supportive community. For more information and to register for this event, please visit this link: .
